Delivery Coverage

Delivery Method
Containers are delivered using tilt-bed and flatbed trucks equipped to safely load, transport, and place your container. Because containers are large, heavy units, delivery trucks require adequate space to maneuver and unload.
Site Requirements
To ensure a smooth delivery, your drop-off site should have:
- Clear access — a path at least 12 feet wide and 14 feet high, free of low-hanging branches, wires, or other obstructions
- Stable, level ground — a flat surface capable of supporting the container's weight
- Straight truck approach — roughly 60–100 feet of straight, clear approach for the delivery truck to safely position and unload
- Someone present — an adult (18+) must be available at the delivery site to confirm placement and sign for the delivery
If our driver determines the site isn't safely accessible upon arrival, delivery may be delayed and a redelivery fee may apply.
Delivery Timeline
Standard lead time is 5–10 business days from confirmed order and payment, depending on your location and container availability. Deliveries are scheduled during our business hours, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and we'll contact you in advance to confirm a delivery date and estimated arrival window.
Delays can occasionally occur due to weather, carrier availability, or site-access issues; we'll communicate promptly if your delivery date changes.
Delivery Costs
Delivery is quoted separately from the container price and depends on your distance from the nearest depot. A written delivery quote is provided before you finalize your order — call +1 (341) 222-9460 or email info@amgshippingcontainers.com for a quote specific to your address.
Inspection & Damage
Please inspect your container at the time of delivery, before the driver leaves the site. Report any visible transport damage immediately so we can address it. Once delivery is accepted and the driver has departed, claims related to placement or ground conditions at the site become the customer's responsibility.
Rescheduling & Missed Deliveries
If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery window. Missed deliveries due to site inaccessibility or no one being present may incur a redelivery fee.
